1. What Is a Cookie?

Cookies are small text files that websites save in your browser. Your browser’s local storage (localStorage) similarly keeps a small piece of information on your device. This policy explains which of these technologies our site uses and why.

2. We Do Not Use Advertising or Tracking Cookies

The Craftsoft website does not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, profiling or analytics. There are no third-party pixels or tracking codes on our site that follow you across other websites. We do not set cookies in your browser from our own domain.

3. Language Preference (Local Storage)

To remember the language you choose on your next visit, a single entry named “craftsoft-locale” is written to your browser’s local storage. It contains only the language code (e.g. tr, en), is never sent to our servers and stays on your device until you delete it.

4. Infrastructure and Security Cookies

Our site is hosted on Cloudflare. To protect the site against malicious traffic and automated attacks, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies such as “__cf_bm” when needed. These cookies are short-lived (usually 30 minutes), are not used to identify you personally and are required for the site to operate securely.

5. Third-Party Services

When Google reCAPTCHA is enabled on the contact form to prevent abuse, it loads only at the moment you submit the form and may use Google’s own cookies. These cookies are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

When you click external links such as Instagram, GitHub or WhatsApp, that platform’s own cookie policy applies.

6. Why Is There No Cookie Banner?

Because our site uses only technologies that are strictly necessary for the service and its security, plus your language preference, we do not show a separate consent banner. If an analytics or advertising cookie is ever added, it will not run without your prior explicit consent and this policy will be updated.

7. Managing Cookies

You can delete cookies and site data, or block all cookies or only third-party cookies, in your browser settings. To remove your language preference, use your browser’s “clear site data” option; the site will keep working in its default language.
